TEAM Leigh boxing head coach Adrian Fleming scooped two prestigious awards this week.
Fleming was named North West Boxing Coach of the Year 2014 by England Boxing and also won Wigan Borough Sports Coach of the Year Award.
He was named runner up in the Unsung Hero Award category for work in the local community.
Team Leigh Boxing were named North West Boxing Club of the Year by England Boxing and the club were nominated as Wigan Borough Sports Club of the Year.
Team Leigh Boxing have daily boxing and fitness classes at both Leigh Boxing and Fitness Gym and Wigan Youth Zone.
There are classes for boys and girls aged four to 12-years-old, 5.30 to 6.30pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and senior classes for male and females 13 years and above.
They run every weekday evening from 6pm to 7.30pm. Women only Boxing Bootcamps are also being held, 7.45pm to 8.45pm, on Monday and Wednesdays.
Leigh boast a 40-strong boxing squad, but the facilities are available for improving fitness levels.
The club has produced more than 200 title winners, national champions and England internationals, with six former Team Leigh boxers now in the professional ranks, while former welterweight Mike Wilkinson is on the rise in the UFC.
