CALLUM Barlow led Atherton to back-to-back wins with victory away to Darcy Lever, writes Mikael McKenzie.

Following some recent patchy form, Atherton are back up to fifth after adding to the previous weekend's victory over Little Hulton.

Ather Abid (72) and James Hill (31) were the notable batters for the hosts who completed their overs for a total of 188-9 – with majority of the wickets falling to Jamar Griffith (5-60).

Barlow led the reply with the bat striking 88 and Scott Ryan added 60 not out to wrap up the win to the loss of only three wickets – of which all fell to Andrew Patel (3-47).

Mike Gould and Jordan O’Malley both bowled five-wicket hauls as Worsley and Astley and Tyldesley clashed in a mid-table affair.

A&T opened the batting and Travis Wordsworth who top-scored with 45 before Sam Lowe added 31.

Worsley skipper Gould bowled 5-31 inside six overs and Schaughn Van Greunen took 3-36 as they bowled their opponents out for 124.

Gould then turned his hand to the bat and hit 23 – the highest scoring player on his side, with only extras (28) bettering his score.

O'Malley attempted to halt the gradually increasing reply with figures of 5-43 but Worsley recovered to secure the win with three wickets to spare.
