Starting at 1pm there will be a ticket-only Q&A session themed around the 1983 National Cup final against Lock Lane, with speakers confirmed including Paul Dowling, John Webster and Tony Cottrell.

There will also be a buffet lunch and a special edition of the match programme only available at this event.

The price is £5, £3.50 concessions, which includes the match admission.

On almost 100 pages of memories some of the most significant and unusual moments in the club’s rich history are featured.

The book is £10 and can be pre-ordered by contacting Jeff.

In the evening the club will host a mixed dinner with players, supporters and volunteers from across the 50 years attending.

The event involves a two-course meal, a further Q&A session with past players including Tommy Goulden, Micky Higham and Tommy Martyn Jnr and the guest speaker will be the former Wigan, Penrith and Wakefield great Bill Ashurst, who played against Miners for Wigan in the 1966 Challenge Cup tie.

The evening will conclude with the 2016 Hall of Fame inductions.
