ANOTHER superb team performance against an awkward side gained all five points on the Wirral which keeps the pressure on the top two.

Bongs kicked off and applied some excellent pressure on the hosts which eventually had them loose possession, Mark Dickinson kicked on, before touching down for the first score after just two Minutes.

From the restart, superb pick and drives enabled Tyldesley to make good ground. Superb vision and support had Conor Norton come on to the ball, who’s strong carry, brushed all aside, on route to the line, Paul Martin added the conversion, giving the Visitors a 12 point lead after just six minutes.

The next half hour was pretty even as Sunlight started to find their feet. With just four of the half remaining Tyldesley struck in quick succession adding another twelve points to their tally.

Adam Fetherston touched down at the back of a driving maul, who was also the recipient of a great Zack Sargent break and support play by Harry Hutton and martin, who added the extra two.

Within thirty seconds of the second half getting underway Tyldesley recorded a try, any professional side, of either code, would be proud of.

Damien Twizell started the ball rolling after gathering the kick-off and driving hard, Matt Crampton, Michael Barrett and Paul Gillbanks supported well, Gillbanks reacted quickly via a great ball to Dickinson who continued the advance, brilliant interplay between Sargent, Hutton and Luke Dufeu had the ball move out before coming back inside for Rob Cox to finish off, an unbelievable piece of team rugby, Martin converted.

Although shocked and dismayed by the previous try, Sunlight put up some good resistance, which kept the visitors out, but the constant battering the home defence came under, had another four tries being added through Hutton, Sargent, Dickinson and Pulman in a 17 minute spell.

Sunlight, who never gave up, benefited from a few penalties conceded by Tyldesley and crossed for a converted try, for what looked like being the final points of the match, but another flowing move, in the last few seconds, saw Ben Kendrick touch down for his first, first team try.

Martin converted four of the six second half tries.

Man of the match was Matt Crampton
