LEIGH Centurions have signed Adam Walne on loan from Huddersfield Giants until the end of the 2018 Season, and that he will take squad number 32.

Leigh Centurions Head Coach Kieron Purtill said: "Adam is a fantastic professional with a lot of experience. The reports I have had about his training, attitude and his willingness to work for and help out his team mates has been first-class.

"I am looking forward to him bringing this to our group on a daily basis and to him being a leader with his no nonsense approach to games as we push for a top four place in the Betfred Championship.

"I'd like to thank Huddersfield Giants for their help in putting this deal together, and hopefully it will benefit all parties."

Under the terms of the loan agreement the 27-year-old prop forward will not eligible to play against his parent club in the eventuality of the two teams meeting one another during the current season.
