KIERON Purtill admits Leigh will be heading back to Featherstone next month for the Betfred Championship Shield final.
A 22-4 defeat at the LD Nutrition Stadium last Sunday, against a Rovers squad of just 14 men, leaves Centurions second favourites to host the game.
Both teams have four regular Shield fixtures to play with Leigh hosting second bottom Swinton at Leigh Sports Village on Sunday.
Rovers, who are at Sheffield tomorrow night (Friday), hold a two points advantage with a superior points difference.
“If you are being a realist then it is probably home advantage gone,” agreed Purtill.
“It’s looking we will be going back there for the final. When you come here it’s never easy.
“And coming back for a final, the crowd will be behind them and their players will be up for it.”
