Bazid Khan hit top form with bat and ball to lead Spring View to a 59 run win in the Bolton Association clash at home to Standish.

Khan showed his class with an excellent 106 not out while Mike Crookson provided able support with 28 in a total of 193-3

Standish fell well short of their target, although Tony Kelly with 46 and David Bowden, with 43, put up a fight.

Khan was the star of the show, however, taking 6-43 while team-mate Ibrar Ali took 3-24.

Darcy Lever came unstuck at home to Atherton in the Bolton Association with their match reduced to 37 overs.

Darcy batted first with Grant Cordin hitting 37 and pro Chris Street scoring 35 not out in their total of 133-8.

Atherton bowler David Baines took 4-53 before his batsmen colleagues got the job done with two wickets to spare.

Pro Steve Mullaney scored 47, and Street's 5-57 was not enough to save his side.

Little Hulton are third in the table following their six-wicket victory at Golborne.

In a game reduced to 39 overs, Golborne scored 142-9 with pro Mike Taioroa hitting 61 and Graham Marston notching a useful 33.

Ijaz Ahmed for Little Hulton was man of the match, taking 5-59 before blasting 52 not out as the Salford men reached the 143 target for the loss of only four wickets. Mark Penny hit a valuable 29.

Flixton were beaten in a low-scoring encounter at home to league-leaders Daisy Hill. The Manchester side were all out for 96 with only Rob Clews's 41 troubling the scorers. Daisy bowler Ali Zaidi cashed in with five wickets and Warren grabbed three.

Daisy knocked off the required 97 for the loss of six wickets, with Flixton pro Faisal Aafreedi taking four wickets.

Astley and Tyldesley's match at home to Walshaw was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
