LEIGH Genesis recorded an impressive victory over Prescot Cables tonight.

Former Bury youngster Jordan Stepien opened the scoring on 21 minutes, but the visitors equalised just seven minutes later through Steve Williams.

However, Leigh kept battling and came away with the three points courtesy of Josh Wilson’s 71st minute strike.
