ONCE again Hindley’s attack and defence was superb throughout, allowing them to keep a clean sheet.
Hindley were consistently stronger than their rivals across the park and as the confidence grew the players added some flair to the proceedings.
Rob Draper and Chris Scarborough were outstanding for the visitors, notching four tries each with Scarborough adding a conversion.
Other try scorers were Glover, two, Arrowsmith and Wright, who also added seven conversions to his points tally.
Bold Miners U17 16 Hindley u17 4
HINDLEY travelled to premiere side Bold in the Edge Hill Cup and came away with plenty of plaudits following a mammoth effort with only 12 available players.
Bold led 12-0 at the break following some dominating forward-led rugby.
In the second half Hindley battled against a sloping pitch and fatigue but managed to get on the score sheet through Nathan Roberts.
Hindley u14 32 Rylands Sharks u14 10
IN the first round of the North West Counties Cup, Hindley welcomed Rylands Tiger Sharks in what turned out to be a fiercely contested game. Man-of-the-match Jack Turner was sin-binned and grabbed a try on his return to the field, with other tries from Raith Stringer, James Taylor and Rob Taylor to put the result well past Rylands.

IN the first half Hindley held their own with some good defensive work throughout the team and a cracking first try from Jack Ashton.
As the second half progressed, Ince took control of the game with their forwards running riot.
Hindley never gave in and scored a second try through man-of-the-match Jordan Causer.
