LEIGH East romped into the last 16 of the BARLA National Cup after a thrilling win against Bradford Dudley Hill.
East have booked a place against Thatto Heath at Ledgard Avenue on March 20.
They are also in Challenge Cup action against Hunslet on Saturday, kick off 3pm, at the Sports Village Stadium.
A first half try from Andrew Groves and an exchange of penalties meant the teams went into the break with Dudley Hill leading 8-6.
Bradford strengthened their lead after the break but tries from Carl Redford, Hill and Ryan Fieldhouse, along with goals from Ryan Peters meant that East finished on top.
Leigh East 24 Wigan St Pats 4
LEAGUE leaders Leigh East recorded a solid win in their National Conference Premier Division fixture against Wigan.
Tries by Gary Middlehurst and Lee Rowley plus two conversions from Peters gave East a 12-0 lead at the interval.
Further tries in the second half came from Redford, Steven Grundy and Mark Ballard, Peters converting two more.
St Pats grabbed a late consolation try.
