HINDLEY amateur rugby league team reached the magic ton against a Chorley side reduced to 12 men midway through the game due to injuries.
Michael Arrowsmith crossed for four tries, with others coming from Joe Wilson, Rob Draper, two, Carl Burgess, Danny Higham, Tommy Draper, Stephen Webb, Glover, three, Chris Hersnip, two, Stephen Mayo, Chris Scarborough.

THE final score does not reflect the effort put in by Hindley.
Prop forwards Tom Reid and Josh Donaghue were excellent in the go forward effort.
Hindley scored the try of the game when the returning Kieron Whittles’ deft kick found winger Darren Picton to scorch over from 50 yards.
A great 30-metre mazy run saw full back Jack Silcock evade tackles to crash over. Jack Milligan converted both.

JAKE Hughes’ late try converted by Raith Stringer earned Hindley a share of the spoils after being 10-0 behind early on.
Stringer had crossed for both of Hindley’s earlier tries.

HINDLEY struggled to find away through a well-organised St Judes defence.
The St Judes’ forwards were hard to contain setting the platform for there speedy backs.
Try scorers for Hindley were Connor Davies-Aspey and Connor Alder with player of the match going to Joe Sumner grabbing a well deserved brace.

LEIGH produced their most outstanding performance of the season so far against the stand-out team at their age. Josh Wall opened the scoring and Joseph Collier added the extras. Robbie Horton extended the lead further and Bradley Whelan converted. St Judes bounced back with a converted try but Joseph Collier’s try of the game was converted by Josh Wall to put Miners back in command. Wall went in at the corner to make the game safe with Jordan Beach converting.

LEIGH Miners Rangers edged out Crosfields in a titanic tussle. Try scorers for Miners were Hayden Williams, three, Jacob Whitworth and Alex Pendlebury. Player of the match went to Hayden Williams, top tackler went to Brandon Tickle and most improved was Luke Hamer.
