NORTH West Counties League leaders Wigan Robin Park deservedly won as Colls put in their worst performance of the season so far.
It did not start badly, with Gary Burnett scoring in the second minute with his first-ever touch in a Colls shirt.
However, that was to be the only bright note.
Paul Shanley could have doubled the lead but shot wide in a good position.
By then the hosts were bossing the game and Luke Faulkener equalised just before half time. He tapped in from close range after a corner.
Wigan were totally dominant after the break. Lee Harrison scored direct from a corner on 50 minutes and when Phil Howard scored his customary goal against the Colls there was no coming back.
Michael Wood put the icing on the cake late on.
On Saturday Colls entertain Holker OB in NWCFL Division One, kick off 3pm.
