LOUISE Watkin set her sights on a fourth medal at the London 2012 Paralympic Games after winning her heat to progress third fastest into the S9 100m Freestyle final.

South Africa’s defending champion Natalie Du Toit qualified fastest for what will be the last Paralympic race of her career in one minute 2.95 seconds.

But defending silver medallist Watkin will be right next to her in lane three after clocking a season’s best 1:04.63.

“That was a strong swim,” said Watkin, from Leigh, who has won medals in all three finals she has contested at this Games.

“I just wanted to get into the final and get a lane. Now I’ve done that, let’s see what I can do tonight.

“I looked at the programme before I came and my races were all at the back end of it but that’s just how they fell so I’ll just keep going.”
