WANDERERS' UEFA Cup clash with Atletico Madrid at the Reebok on Thursday night is heading for a sell-out.
Fans have flocked to take advantage of the big discounts on offer for the first leg of the Round of 32 tie against the Spanish giants.
The club's cut-price ticket initiative appeared to have paid off handsomely as Wanderers warned fans that supplies were fast running out.

I have a feeling its going to be a great night in more ways than one.
Cut prices for the rest of the season
and get the fans back.
It will lift the players and the place will be buzzing again.
Then hopefully when we avoid Relegation the club will will realise than a price reduction is the answer.

BUT the major factor in this being a sell-out, and not yet mentioned on here which has completely surprised me, is that Bolton Wanderers have NOT sold the TV rights to any home broadcaster. In other words it is not on any British TV station and highlights of the match, I think , will also be dealt with in the same manner - none!!!! BUT, they have sold the TV rights of overseas broadcasting - so fans who live abroad still have a chance of catching the match - like me!!!!

Forget football politics (i.e. internal or FA's) This is about one of the biggest games in Bolton's History (the other being Bayern Munchen in 2007!!!!!!!!).
Unfortunately cannot make it tomorrow night (valentine's meal, etc) but will be able to watch the match before heading on to the nightclubs!!!!!!! BUT I will be there in Madrid to support the boys on the field.

The Premier League are exploring a proposal to play an extra 10 fixtures every January from the 2010-11 season onwards, extending the domestic campaign to 39 games. Cities around the world have been mooted as possible destinations to stage the matches - particularly in North America, Asia and Australia
But the plans have not received the approval the Premier League would have hoped for, with national and regional associations - including the US Soccer Federation and the Asian Football Confederation - voicing opposition to the idea. FFA is the latest to indicate its concerns, with chairman Frank Lowy saying he saw no great benefit to Australia hosting Premier League matches and reiterating that the association's priorities were with continuing development of the A-League.
"We said when this issue first arose last week that FFA's overwhelming priority is to promote the Hyundai A-League and to continue to invest in, and grow, the game in Australia," Lowy said. "That remains our view."

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Christian Abiatti is confident his side can see off Bolton in their Uefa Cup round of 32 clash.
In what the Italian believes will be a closely fought encounter, he is confident the fact the second leg is at the Vicente Calderon could be the deciding factor.
