Coyle rules out bid for duo

OWEN Coyle has ruled out a move for Argentinian playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme.

Speculation has linked Wanderers with the 32-year-old former Barcelona and Villareal star who is looking for a new club after being released by Boca Juniors.

The Bolton manager has also dismissed talk of a swoop for former West Ham striker Ilan. The Brazilian, aged 29, is also a free agent.

“It’s rubbish. I've no interest in either of them,” said the Wanderers manager.

Coyle also confirmed he had a conversation with Newcastle boss Chris Hughton about Jlloyd Samuel but there had been no firm offer for the out-of-favour left-back - or for any other of his players.
