Leigh ‘revved’ up

LEIGH Centurions have appointed a new chaplain, following an increasing trend in sports clubs.

Sam Edwards joins Centurions having also become new minister at Leigh Baptist Church in Vernon Street and at Atherton Baptist Church on Tyldesley Road.

His appointment has already been praised by Leigh chief executive Trevor Barton MBE.
