LEIGH Centurions will provide the stage for a smash-hit new rugby league play next month.
Playing The Joker, by award winning author and sports journalist Anthony Clavane, is about Eddie Waring's attempt to give Rugby League a national profile.
Through song, dance, jokes and gripping drama, it follows a young Rugby League fan's quest to meet Eddie, and put some truths to his hero.
This will be followed by a Question Of Sport, as Leigh coaches Paul Rowley and Neil Jukes, and guests, battle it out to see who has the best sporting knowledge.
This all takes place at Leigh Sports Village on Wednesday, May 7.
Tickets are available now costing £10 each, or £95 for a table of 10, which includes a pie and peas supper!
