LEIGH Centurions showed their capabilities with a convincing Good Friday victory at Swinton Lions.
Craig Hall starred as he scored twice and converted six of Leigh’s seven tries overall for a 20-point personal haul.
Liam Hood and Nathan Mason gave the visitors a solid start at Heywood Road before the Lions roared back through George Tyson and Kyle Shelford to narrow the gap to just two points.
However, Hall’s double and a further effort from Bodene Thompson gave the Centurions breathing space.
Peter Mata’utia and Matty Dawson rounded off the victory for Keiron Purtill’s men
