HEAVY snow in Yorkshire has been blamed for the postponement of Leigh Centruions's Northern Rail fixture against Dewsbury Rams on Saturday.
The Northern Rail Cup fixture against the Rams has been rescheduled for Wednesday March 3, kick off 7.45pm.
Meanwhile, the Centurions will now turn their attentions to Thursday's Co-Operative Championship opener with last season's winners Barrow Raiders and look to eradicate memories of the last time these teams met when Leigh were humbled 74-6.
In other news, the Centurions Reserve side are to return to action this coming week. A game is scheduled for Wednesdy evening at Leigh East with the amateur Great Britain Community Lions in opposition, kick off 7.30pm.
