LEIGH Centurions will link up with the Armed Forces for their final Championship home match of the season against Toulouse on Saturday.
The RAF, SAFFA, RAFFA and TA will be staging recruitment centres, armed vehicles and assault courses at Leigh Sports Village in the lead up to the 6pm kick off.
Centurions are offering free tickets to ‘our troops’ for the game. Life president Tommy Sale said of the partnership: “Centurions are proud to be involved with the armed forces and this is a great way for the club to give something back to the servicemen and women.”
A bucket collection for Help for Heroes will also be undertaken outside the stadium.
Help for Heroes raises money to support members of the armed forces who have been wounded in service.
Other pre-match entertainment will include a mini fun fair, inflatable military assault course and barbecue.
Any armed forces personnel wishing to take up the free entry offer should take their MOD 90 card or equivalent to the ticket office before 5pm on Saturday for their complimentary admission ticket.
