Genesis going 'home'

IT’s exciting times once again for Leigh Genesis as a group of investors are close to taking over the club, while they have finally been given the green light to play their first game at Leigh Sports Village – against FC United on Tuesday, January 27.

But first Genesis have to travel to Clitheroe tomorrow for a ‘home’ game against Eastwood Town.

Leigh have been nomads so far this season with the move to their new ground delayed by one problem after anothe. But with no other ground available they are hoping this will be their final game away from Leigh Sports Village..
