ANNUAL charity fundraiser ‘The Gill Pimblott Memorial 5k race and One Mile Fun Run’ will be hosted by Astley and Tyldesley Road Runners at the Miners Welfare Institute in Tyldesley on November 15.
All the money raised will go to Dr Harland's ABC fund at Wigan Infirmary, buying in specialist equipment for the treatment of breast cancer.
The fun run starts at 11.30am and the 5k race at noon.
Entry fees for the 5k race are £4 for attached runners and £6 for unattached (£1 extra on the day), while it is £2.50 for the fun run (50p extra on the day).
International running legend, Ron Hill will compete in the event and assist with the prize giving.
