HINDLEY rugby league team set the tone for the rest of the game within minutes of the start.
Having forced an early goal-line drop out, quick hands saw Tommy Draper stroll in to the side of the posts.
By half time the lead had been stretched to 34-0 with Draper’s second try and others from Phil Glover, Danny Ball, Rob Draper and Danny Carney.
Early in the second half Rob Draper crossed twice to complete his hat-trick and with 10 minutes remaining Adam McGuire burst through from 40 metres to crash over.

HINDLEY won their first match of the season with tries from player of the match Sam Fitton, Jamie Duffy, Jarrod Roscoe, Dylan Prescott and Ethan Hill. Luke Dale was the top tackler.
Blackbrook u17 50 Hindley u17 10.
HINDLEY’S 11 men produced a magnificent first-half display to trail only 10-6 to a full strength Blackbrook side.
The numerical disadvantage took its toll in the second half but the Hindley players battled to the end and showed a great team spirit against the odds.
Jack Silcock scored both of Hindley’s tries.
Thatto Heath u14 22 Hindley u14 10 HINDLEY gained much credit against Premier side Thatto Heath in the North West Counties Cup.
Hindley’s defence was excellent throughout, with Rob Taylor and Jack Turner scoring their tries.
Hindley u12 4 Chorley u12 34.
HINDLEY had no answer to Chorley’s speed and size.
The home side battled throughout and got their just desserts when player of thre match Leyton Gee scored.
Hindley u8 40 Waterhead u8 20.
HINDLEY continued their winning run with a fine performance and tries from Connor Alder, four, Connor Davies-Aspey, four, Connor Bishop and Tom Peters. Top tackler was Ben Green and most improved was Max Winterflood.
