Saviour claims are frightening (From Leigh Journal)

SO Clrs Mark and Karen Aldred along with Clr Sue Loudon claim that they alone have saved Atherton Library.

Under orders from Peter Smith, they have voted, time and time again against the wishes of what the people of Atherton want or desire.

What’s more frightening is these people are so arrogant that they think we are too stupid to see through their deceit.

What can be done about this I hear you all cry?

The answer is quite simple.

Vote them out at the next local elections.

Nothing strikes more fear into a councillor than the fear of losing his or hers perks and expenses.

Also remember, people of Atherton, what the undemocratic leader of Wigan Council Peter Smith thinks of you all.

Nothing more than an irrelevance.
