ALTHOUGH I understand the need to keep the pigeon population down and the nuisance these birds can cause, and although the lady who was issued with a penalty notice has had her penalty cancelled, I think it could so easily have been anyone else.
I don’t recall seeing a notice saying not to feed birds and if the notices are there they don’t seem to be very prominent. Surely in this technological age Leigh could afford an electronic advertising board to display this and any other information in a prominent position for all to see.
