AT last Ed Thwaite (lendf.co.uk) is going to get us a station at Kenyon and Andy Burnham will get his station for Leigh.
We all will be winners.
Cost will be £12 million, no ripping up of good farm land, no disruption to the railway.
South of France in a day, London in a couple of hours, Scotland a bit longer, a day out in New Brighton or Llandudno and the possibilities are endless, and all from this station.
The work on providing a station could start straightaway. Anyway let’s get going.
