I AGREE with the letter from Donna Hall, Wigan Council chief executive.
There are quite a few stories about councillors being investigated by the standards board on behaviour, especially independent ones.
A councillor is part time, but some try to make a full job out of it.
I agree, root out the dead legs. I am eagerly awaiting the next letter in the Journal.
You are on the right track Donna Hall, keep up the good work.
