I WOULD like to bring the road surface at the junction of Morley Street and Hamilton Street, Atherton, to your attention and ask whether there are any proposals to re-surface this section of road.
It is in an extremely bad state, so much so that I now slow my vehicle down to 10mph to avoid damage to my car when I frequently use the road.
I am sure residents in that area must also see it as a ‘complete eyesore’ outside of their front doors.
In view of the fact that earlier this week national TV news reported councils being provided funding for ‘pot hole’ repairs and car users being able to claim compensation for damage to their vehicles, I think this area should be top priority on your repair list.
I am sure other car users that frequent this area will agree.
