Trumpet call for brass bands
I ATTENDED a concert where Fairy Brass Band played a charity concert for the Parkinsons Society at St George’s Church, Tyldesley.
What a great concert it turned out to be, ably conducted by Mark Peacock.
Thank goodness there is still some gradely music still to be heard.
Long live the brass bands.
Particular thanks must go to the Peacock/Taylor families who continue the teaching and encouraging youngsters to join all our local bands.
