Good luck with your retirement
I READ with sadness about the retirement of Brian Gomm.
Many years ago I did my first work experience on the Leigh Journal and met Brian.
He was so enthusiastic about his work and particularly in championing the Leigh, Atherton and Tyldesley area.
It was partly due to Brian that I decided to pursue a career in journalism.
Brian really is a local institution and I will miss his insight and experience.
Good luck for the future Brian and a big thank you from everyone who has benefited from your 44 years of work.
