THE other day I walked from my house on Sale Lane, Tyldesley, to Boothstown.
At the traffic lights at the East Lancs Road, there is a Texaco filling station.
As I still needed my daily paper, I walked to the filling station to see if they had any papers. They did, so that was sorted. As I came out of the shop there, a black car driven by a female zoomed through the forecourt, having left the East Lancs just to bypass the queue of traffic up to the lights. Lo and behold, within five seconds, white van man had done exactly the same. That option needs to be eliminated, and quickly, before someone gets injured or even worse.
