EVERY sane person in this country should say no to the HS2 train.
The cost will be well over 100 billion pounds. The route will cut through and permanently destroy large swathes of countryside including national parks and ancient woodland. Nothing will be exempt from destruction.
This is so a person can arrive 20 minutes earlier who didn’t need to.
That doesn’t wash with me. High speed trains are for Canada.
There are already lines from London to Manchester/Leeds.
Why build more?
Because it is all part of an agenda whereby all the population will be ticket purchasers travelling by only one means when all private transport is condemned (cars) and other infrastructure is shut down.
Then there is the question, where are we all travelling to?
Don’t be duped by the Cameron sales talk. He is not a red coat and the camps will not be Butlins.
