WHEN, oh when does Wigan Council intend to address the gross problem of vehicles being parked on the roadside and footpaths throughout the borough?
Public highways are permanently restricted to through traffic by vehicles using the public highways as a divine parking space, parked half or wholly across kerbs and grass verges in many instances.
Many are those who have ample facility both front and rear of their properties to facilitate the parking of their vehicles.
Throughout the borough, public highways seem to have been commandeered by company vehicles as means of free parking facilities.
I would also ask when will cyclists be banned from transgressing into the much-decreed pedestrian zones and one way streets?
Also problematic is the habitual parking at cash machines.
