WE ARE fed up reading letters every week about ‘the stupid bus lane nobody wants’.
How can people presume to speak for everyone?
We live in the Sale Lane area of Tyldesley and our current bus service to Leigh and Manchester is pretty poor. The service to Leigh is particularly poor.
The bus lane will be a godsend to a lot of people in this area.
Yes we are being greatly inconvenienced at the moment with the closure of Hough Lane and the daily tedious queues of traffic into Tyldesley, but let’s just get on with it and think of the benefits of the project – easier for access to Manchester Universities, hospitals and city workers.
With such a handy commute we could see a rise in our property prices as well.
So come on let’s have more positive thinking and encouragement for the bus lane!
