Top carnival
I HAVE never written before to the Journal to give my opinion on anything, but felt I would like to say a massive thank you to all the Mosley Common in Bloom members for organising the first mini-music festival held on the green at the common.
It was on from noon to 6pm and we were entertained by Chonkinfeckle from Wigan, Pemberton Brass Band, a music quiz and some solo singers and performers.
It had a wonderful community feel to it, everyone was in good spirits and the sun had his hat on for us.
I am proud of Mosley Common and miss our carnivals and walking days. Let us hope this is the first of many more to come.
