I ENJOYED the artist’s impression of the Busway at Sale Lane.
Or should that be the Impressionist picture because the sun is shining from the right in the picture (north) when in fact it shines from the left.
It does this all day as it passes from from east to west over Astley Green Colliery, unless they move it to the new Astley Green.
That’s not the only fantasy, however.
Eight double-deckers an hour, 500 seats, to Manchester. Presumably outside the rush hour these will be filled by pensioners and the unemployed.
