OUR picture of the week is of a sunrise at Pennington Flash, taken by Emily Cooke from Tinkersfield, Leigh.
The 40-year-old said: “I walk Daisy, my two-year-old labrador, at the park every day and it’s just a lovely place.
“When I took this it was really early in the morning and it was just so beautiful that it felt like a completely different world.
“I’m always taking pictures of Daisy and my trips over Pennington Flash.
“We like going because everyone always says hello.
“There are really friendly people around.”
