FOUR-month-old Jack-a-bee puppy Daisy is our pet of the week.

She lives with owner Kailey Doyle on Timperley Lane, Leigh, and was originally brought as a beagle puppy.

Kailey, 28, said: “We have recently had a DNA test done on her and were shocked to find out she is a Jack-a-bee puppy, meaning she is cross between a Jack Russell and a beagle.

“Loads of people stop us and ask us what breed she is because she’s so unusual and cute.

“My 11-year-old son is best friends with Daisy. I often find her sneaking under the duvet with him all tucked up.

“We all love her so much despite her being very mischievous.”
