I AM wondering if anyone can help me with a phone bill issue as I have tried Age Concern, Citizen Advice and my solicitors without any joy and I don’t know who else to turn to.

I am being charged by the Post Office phone company for five months at my last address for the use of the phone.

Now they have transferred my line they are charging me for a phone that I can’t use, as I owe them money, they say.

I moved on November 4 and paid my bill on November 30, which included until December 13.

I don’t have broadband yet they are charging me for this at my new address.

I cannot use this phone yet they sent a bill until April 13.

That’s two phones and three numbers I have had in five months and nine days.

I have managed to make three calls costing 23p yet they say I must pay £124 now, which is £93 from November 5 until April 13 from my old address.

I have had six letters from them redirected. I have sent them registered delivery and unplugged my phone because I could not use it yet they could call me and harass me.

I had the phone installed at my present address on March 7.

I’ve worked all my life and get pension credits yet the town hall and health centre I have been to have not sorted my council tax out, and I have been threatened with court if I don’t pay my bill.

If you can help please get in touch with me via the Journal.
