THIS sunrise photograph taken by Julie Briscoe from her Golborne home is our picture of the week.
The 46-year-old, of Ivy Road, said: “I was standing in the kitchen before work, looked out the window and just had to take a picture of the pink and purple sky because it was stunning.”
The admin assistant often takes pictures, particularly when she is walking to and from work.
She said: “I try to walk down streets and lanes that are more like the countryside, like Slag Lane and Byrom Lane, because they can be really peaceful and offer a good start to the day, especially on a nice sunny morning.”
