I WRITE to express my disgust at the sentence given to Tinashe Chikoto, who caused the death of mum-of-two Louise Wolstenholme in Bolton.

After running over the said lady, he continued to drag her a further 100 metres.

He then made off in a friend’s car and phoned the police to say his car had been stolen, which was all lies.

He had no insurance and not even a full driving licence.

A person’s life should not be cheap, and as such I think he should have received the maximum five-year sentence.

He came to our country as a migrant, a guest in our country, and as he committed a criminal offence I think he should be removed back to his country of origin on completion of his sentence.
