I WAS appalled to read of Cathy Warwick, the head of the Royal College of Midwives, calling for unrestricted abortion up to birth.
As head of the RCM she is also chairman of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service, the largest abortion provider in the country.
Surely these two jobs are completely at odds with each other.
Abortion up to birth is beyond humanity. It is evil.
In my mind’s eye I can visualise mortuaries filled with full-term dead babies who have been deliberately killed awaiting their disposal. It is pure horror.
The current 24-week limit is also inhumane and should be greatly reduced.
My nephew was born at 23 weeks perfectly formed and beautiful, and many babies are born even earlier and survive.
We need drastic changes in abortion law but not those proposed by Cathy Warwick.
