THIS photograph of Pennington Flash in Leigh is our picture of the week.
It was taken by amateur photographer Paul Fairclough, of Union Street, Leigh.
The 37-year-old laboratory technician said: “I am an enthusiast really and I like to get out as much as I can to take pictures of wildlife and landscapes.
“I had some time off work and I started going on bike rides and taking pictures on my phone. I got great feedback so I just got into it and ended up buying better equipment.
“I really like the picture because the sunset reflects in the water.
“I have always loved the way reflections photograph, so this really appealed to me.”
