THIS picture of a doe and her fawn was taken in Pennington Flash Country Park last month by amateur photographer Jane Tepper.

The 52-year-old, of Waterview Park, Leigh, caught the photography bug a few years ago after following wildlife picture groups on Facebook.

She said: “After seeing people discussing the deer and its baby on a Leigh photography page on Facebook, I had to go there and try to take a picture myself.

“I just got lucky on the day really and ended up with quite a good photograph.

“This experience has made me love wildlife even more and I will definitely take more pictures in the future.”
