Wigan rugby league legend Billy Boston
I HAVE no problem with Wiganers erecting a statue of Billy Boston – by all accounts he was a great rugby player and a gentleman.
What I object to is £3,000 of council taxpayers’ money going towards it.
No amount of money should be spent on someone’s folly.
The council seems to think we are all Wiganers when nothing could be further from the truth.
