THIS photograph of two swans and their seven cygnets at Fir Tree Flash in Leigh was taken by grandmother-of-five Lesley Westwood.
The 59-year-old, of Norley Road, often takes pictures of wildlife and landscapes and she considers herself to be an amateur photographer.
She said: “We went to Fir Tree Flash and were so lucky to see the swans protecting their babies like that.
“I am really happy with the shot I took.
“I often take pictures on my camera or my phone as I like being able to put them on my computer at home to remember the beautiful things I have seen.”
