MEET four-year-old terrier cross Brian, our pet of the week.
He lives with his owner, Reverend Kevin Crinks, the vicar of Leigh Parish Church.
Rev Crinks, 53, said: “Brian is my little companion and is always following me everywhere.
“He is in church most days and especially on Sundays and attends all the church meetings and services, even assisting with baptisms and invariably ending up on the family photos.
“Brian is well known among the schoolchildren in the parish and occasionally shares in their assemblies.
“He often gets treats from parishioners and is very friendly.
“Occasionally he lets me have a little space in which to sleep because despite being a small dog he likes to take most of the space in the bed."
