I WOULD like to respond to Christine Trendall’s letter about green bin collections in last week’s Journal.
The green bin collections were suspended across the borough over the festive period.
This allowed us to prioritise the collection of black, blue and brown bins at what is always a very busy time of year.
Adverts were placed in Borough Life and on social media explaining the changes.
We understand the inconvenience and would like to thank residents for their patience.
Residents can keep up to date with council services by following us on our social media channels, visiting our website or looking out for Borough Life, which is delivered to households across the borough three times a year.
