SINCE the abortion act of 1967 more than eight million babies have been aborted in England and Wales.
In 2015 there were 185,824 abortions, more than the number carried out in the previous year.
Ninety-eight per cent of these abortions are funded by the NHS and 38 per cent of them are repeat abortions.
More and more babies are surviving birth at under the 24-week legal limit, yet still the Government refuses to lower the limit on abortion.
There is surely no need for such high numbers of abortion when birth control is freely available.
Former American president Ronald Reagan, who was against abortion, once said: “I have noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born.”
I say that we need to demand a change in the law on abortion.
I believe the methods of abortion to be cruel and that it should be banned.
