IN reference to the ‘town now a magnet for people from Eastern Europe and Africa’ and ‘our island is overcrowded’ reader’s letters of recent weeks, I consider them to be right wing nonsense.
Leigh is not being overrun by immigrants and these letters do not represent the views of the people of Leigh.
At a time when hate crimes have soared, factually incorrect right wing propaganda is not helpful.
